When you rent a car from Easy Car Rental Bonaire, you pay a €500 security deposit with the standard CDW insurance. The deductible is also $500. That’s a great reason to choose our Easy Protect package. With Easy Protect, there's no deposit and no deductible, so you can hit the road with peace of mind.
Refueling in Bonaire works mostly the same as in the Netherlands. However, it’s important to keep in mind that there are significantly fewer gas stations, so you should pay attention to where they are. If you're driving often and for long distances, it’s a good idea to refuel regularly to avoid getting stuck somewhere without a nearby gas station.
As always, it’s important to know what type of fuel your rental car requires. At the gas station, you can choose between gasoline and diesel. To refuel, you go to the counter beforehand and tell them you want a full tank. You’ll leave your debit card, credit card, or cash with them, and once you're done refueling, you can collect your payment method again.
A car may not be the only way to explore the island, but it is certainly the most comfortable and efficient. It gives you extra freedom to reach every part of the island and traverse all types of terrain. With a pickup, you’ll be much better equipped to access the many unpaved roads and sandy paths on Bonaire.
Due to the high temperatures, walking everywhere isn’t really a pleasant option, and in many places, there are no sidewalks, making it less safe to walk around.
Absolutely! You can specify that there will be an additional driver when you make the reservation. And if you think of it later, that’s no problem at all. Just contact us, and we’ll add it for you free of charge.
